In December 2018, I arrived in Canada with extensive experience and a strong passion for real asset investment, having over 12 years as a private equity professional specializing in real assets. I had advised on and invested in more than $1 billion across various industries, including real estate, power and utilities, oil and gas, and logistics including lifestyle assets like yacht and private jets. Despite my strong background and professional designations in investments and finance (CAIA, CPA, ACCA), I found it challenging to secure a position that aligned with my expertise in Canada.

I transformed the challenge into an opportunity. I leverage my experience as Head of Alternative Investment at TAK Asset Management, Director of Private Equity and CFO at Kappafrik Group, and Senior Investment Advisor at Abucap, to expedite my vision of creating an investment firm.

In July 2020, Ascendi Capital Inc. was established with a clear mission of building a private investment firm dedicated to transforming niche real assets. Focusing on resilient, income-generating assets with growth potential, Ascendi Capital strategically targeted sectors such as multifamily real estate, RV campsites, self-storage, and car washes. My vision is to create value for accredited investors while revitalizing essential community services.

I am leading a roll-up strategy to acquire and merge several car wash businesses across Prairies in Canada. This initiative is a strategic approach driven by the fact that real asset investments provide stability and growth potential, even in volatile markets, a conviction developed through years of advising on and structuring large-scale investments.
